awesome glitches in video games

Madden 97 for PS1; I could run pretty much any pass play and roll out to the sideline with my QB. The defense would never react properly, and I scrambled for about 15-25 yards each play. Elway was rushing for about 500 yds a game.

I think this is an error in most football games...but in NFL Fever 2002 with 3 players you can run blatant pick plays without being called. That'll piss a lot of people off on x-box live.

LJN's Major League Baseball for NES. That game has more bugs than any game I've ever played.

Players could walk into the stands. If a ball hit the wall near the foul pole, it was a homer. Defenders threw balls that defied gravity, yet travelled at 5 mph. Pretty much any infield grounder was a safe hit.

And on and on and on.

That game was awesome. Although I scored more with the pass button rather than shoot because the shooting animation takes forever and telegraphs exactly what you're doing.

in Tecmo Bowl, if you are on your own 1 yard line (or so) and throw an interception that the defense catches in your end zone (like a screen pass) you get the touchdown!

To clarify, me and my friends consisted of 3 people who played regularly and a half dozen people who played only when they came over to my place to play. The point was that an experienced player could smoke the inexperienced players 10-0 using the cheapie, so we banned it.
