Seems like 99 is the most common set to catch with an accompanied Ace on the flop, which always gives me a boner.

A not well-known fact to many top players is that 74o is the non-paired hand that is most likely to flop quads.

I can vouch for the fact that I have never heard a top player remark that 74 comes quads more often.

I got no luck with ducks and reverse ducks here (22-55). They never catch sets or people folds to them on the flop.

This is the most awesome thread in MHSH this year.

Obviously 33 is the PP that hits sets the most. In my PT data i have them hitting set on the flop just over 1 in 6 times

99 is disgustingly sick as it always flops A9x and similarly A9 is the best way to beat an overmatched ace. 88 has been demoted on my list to savagely unlucky

I haven't had much success with open limping 62o on the button, so I'd recommend not doing that.

this thread is rad

55 is the most likely to catch running 5s for quads vs my KK, thereby giving some donk a gigantic high hand jackpot, conversely, 55 is most likely to flop a set for myself when I'm running bad, forget to reload soon enough and end up going all in on the turn vs AK w/ top 2

also, hearts (Q8 in particular) are definitely the most powerful str8 flush hand, because I made my first ever str8 flush with Q8. I also made two str8 flushes in hearts in one live session, the first with Q8, and the second with 55 were I flop a set of 5s on a 7h6h5x flop and catch running 8h, 9h, and I ck behind my str8 flush, thinking my set is almost worthless, which adds to the perceived strength of hearts and wierdness/missing value of 55

by the way, i suck at poker
