I just got off the phone with my mexican friend cuz I had never heard "papita" as slang for a vag before. She never had either. She said its a nickname for "josefina" and it can also be used as dumb or stupid. So maybe its one of those?

Not sure what this site is, but it popped up right away in Google. I've also heard this term before, although panoche is the usual word for pussy that I hear.
