snagglepuss' line is perfect.
you call turn and lead river for like 3K-5K making a fake blocking bet.
this will maximize your value.

villian right now think his AJ/QQ/KJ is the best hand however once you call turn he's mostly likely going to check behind on river.

however he'll usually look you up if you fire small on river so i'd probably bet like 4K and try and look scared.

and i doubt you have to worry about him bluff raising the river, that move is reserved for good players.

i like this, but i still prob bet turn. as played though, i think chuds line is great.

if i think the player is capable of bluff raising the river with a hand like AJ (realizing he has no showdown) then i def. check.
however vs that type of player i lead the turn.

ok i guess ill post results in white:
<font color="white">
i called the 3k. the river came another 7 which i thought was a good card for me cause sets are so less likely, and its a good bluffing card for him so i checked to him hoping hed bet so i could snapcall but he checked behind. i do like the idea of a river blockish bet but and was thinking about doing that but when the 7 hit i figured cc was better. anyone disagree?
</font>

btw redman im not scared money, ill gladly get it in and lose. its quite a different hand at 5/10 though, not because of the money to me but to the opponents and the fact that people overvalue hands at 5/10. also, im not necessarily getting 3k in the middle with aces here. id probably fold to a big river bet at 5/10.

hey tstone, i'm pretty sure i was utg+1 in this hand, iirc i think i had 86s. the other guy is mitch, he never slowplays so he would've raised a set on the flop, you're good here 100% of the time. btw you left the game too soon, amir nasseri came a little later and threw a party, gave away 30-40k before he quit.

hey mike, sorry if it was in fact you. my original description of you wasnt too flattering, lol!

greg: its kind of hard to post the losing hand when you dont know what it is. its not like we have a hand history we can look through for mucked cards in a live game.

Hi TStone,

Nobody said this yet, but I'd raise the turn vs. a fish. He pretty obviously is not bluffing, but there's a very good chance he's overvaluing a losing hand. The kid is pretty likely on a draw or a J when he doesn't bet the turn, so calling is not optimal IMO. Fish don't put in 3K on the turn and then fold for 5-6K more that often.

he leaned back in his chair and interlaced his fingers which is generally a sign of weakness.

I don't agree with this. Why do you think this?
