Re: Three Years in Las Vegas
Dynasty, Good story. Since you knew so little about poker when you moved to Vegas, did you even know that it was possible to earn a living from playing? I'm very suprised that they fired you for not signing that form. From my experience those agreements are meaningless. They are routinely broken. Thank you for all your contributions to this forum. |

Re: Three Years in Las Vegas
Apart from you leap of faith, which was incredible, this was the most amazing thing I saw.
So, I said I'd play some 1-5 stud with them for an hour or two so we could play and chat. Dave actually played an hour or two of stud ? |

Re: Three Years in Las Vegas
Yours is the sort of post that I trawl the internet looking for, knowing I'll find a gem like it three or four times a year at most...
THANK YOU for a really great post! It's satisfying and educational to read honest accounts of real poker. - roGER |

Re: Three Years in Las Vegas
Congrats
I can't help asking though: do you enjoy it? And do you plan to do this for a long time to come? P.S. Thank you for helping out my game over the last couple of years. |

Re: Three Years in Las Vegas
That's one hell of a story, Dynasty. You definately have the heart and the discipline to be a successful gambler. I'm sorry that we didn't meet up this trip, but all the best to you, and I'll see you on my next trip to Sin City.

Re: Three Years in Las Vegas
I think its safe to say that someone would be hard pressed to find two more different people than Bryan and myself. I think we have both benefitted because of it. No doubt that Bryan is an acquired taste, but I'm very glad we became friends.

If one of you were stupid you'd be more different.
