This is a looooooonng time ago...maybe 10 years ago. Anyway I was strolling though the top section at Bike. This guy I played with at the Commerce $10-20 LHE the day before is sitting with a few racks of white chips($100) playing heads up. So I'm like WTF? Anyway, his opponent is on a small stack of whites and is all red faced and bloodshot eyes. Clearly the guy with the huge stack is laying waste to the other dude. Soon enough the heads up match is done. So the next night I'm at Commerce and see the bloodshot tilty guy roll up to valet in a Ferrari. I'm like wtf...this guy is maybe 23-24 years old and drives a Ferrari. So later that same night I am at my $10-20 LHE table and mention that the dude walking by drives a Ferrari and got his azz handed to him at Bike the night before heads up and is some ass at poker. A guy at the table says "hey, thats David Oppenheim...thats my friend". I gulp. He runs over and tells Oppenheim and points to me but I guess I'm too insignificant for Oppenheim to care about. Anyway Oppenheim was a donkey and a half in that head up matchup. [/ QUOTE ] Odd story. Did David not make his first money in poker?
