If he is shoving 66+ AQ here his shoving range is awful.

[/ QUOTE ]

That far from the button, the proper shoving range should be your basic default 10BB mid-tight calling-range pushing range. What makes 66+,AQ+ that awful?

EDIT: I shove a bit tighter, but not much. I'd say {88+,AQs+,AKo}.

My calling range is probably like 88+ AQ+

I don't think there's any way calling this wide is correct against a good player, you'll be dominated pretty often. Against a random it's a different story.

I think he is shoving something like 88,AQ here, but you know him better than I do, gravy. It wasn't as bad as I first thought though, he isn't shoving AA, but has been known to shove KK occasionally here.

he should be shoving like 66+, ATs+. maybe 55 idk. and you can probably discount AA and KK most of the time. im calling with TT+, AK, maybe more because its too likely he doesnt have AA or KK. as someone already said pushing AA or KK at a 16 probably isnt the best.

How can you be shoving 55,66,77,AT here? AJ is thin as it is.

Shoving less than 88 can't be good, defintley not A10, I don't think I like shoving AJ here but it isn't horrible or anything.
