I think this will be a low scoring game, Milan 1-0 or something like that.

Doesn't mean it won't happen this time, and I hope I'm wrong.

AC Milan is the better team but the ownership cheated big time in Italy so I hope they get destroyed.

Carragher, Finnan, Agger in defense - definitely of the best the premiership have to offer.

Not quite but still pretty good.

Gerrard, Alonso, Mascherano in midfield - all world class. Liverpool are weak up front and on the left, certainly, but if you think Milan are going to dominate the midfield

We played with 5 across the middle against Milan and they opened us up pretty easily. Ronaldo is a better winger than Gerrard as is Giggs when compared to Pennant and Zenden, and yet they still prevented them from being involved in the play. The way to counter this is for Gerrard to drift more centrally, which I suspect he will do but again that will open up space on the right. I think the key to this midfield battle will be how well Liverpool suffocate Pirlo in the center and Mascherano's ability to close down Kaka, both huge tasks. If they can do that well, expect the tide to turn in Liverpool's favour very quickly.

[ QUOTE ]
or that Inzaghi will cause more trouble for Carragher et al than, say, Drogba you are sorely mistaken.

[/ QUOTE ]
Again I think Milan have changed and that most of their attacking threat will come from Kaka (top scorer in the CL) and Seedorf (who played amazingly in both legs).

Overall I think it is clear Liverpool is stronger defensively than the team Man U fielded against Milan over the two legs. Not only the back four, but also the midfield, and heck even the forwards. Did you see Kuyt run like a rabid dog for 120 minutes against Chelsea, hustling, bustling and bothering everyone but Peter Cech. No one shies away from their defensive duties.

This team has contained players like Messi, Ronaldhino, Drogba, Robben, Cole, Lampard very effectively the last few months.

The game against Man U at Anfield also comes to mind. Sir himself admitted they were very lucky to get a result. Liverpool is well organized and has very little to worry about defensively. However, as in the game against Man U, if they dont score they aint gonna win.

If Gerrard is not able to muster another brilliant cup final performance, then the biggest threat to Milan will not be any other indvidual, but the team as a unit, grinding out a result.

im kinda bored so im going to pwn u.

Liverpool lineup on that game: Dudek, Peltier, Hyypia, Paletta, Warnock (Alonso 58), Guthrie, Gerrard, Aurelio, Gonzalez (Luis Garcia 11) (Carragher 75), Fowler, Bellamy.
Subs Not Used: Reina, Crouch.

Lets see, no finnan, no agger, no carragher, no mascherano and no Xabi Alonso.
What a pathetic post attack dude.

Most of Baptista's goals were fairly easy goals because Aliadiere actually created most of them.
