leave an option up there for did your parents pay, becuae I didnt want to buy one, but my mom is all about that memento crap so she bought it.

Oh you know, times change...

Young people now are more apathetic about their alma mater than some years ago. And I'm not saying that's a bad thing. It just is what it is.

I think it probably has to do with growth and where you're from. If you're from a smaller town or a city that has only one high school, it's different than those who come from larger urban centers.

In the end, I don't think there is anything wrong with being proud of where you are from or where you have been.

How is wearing your class ring any different than wearing a Yankees cap or a Patriots jersey?

I think it also has a little to do with the fact that, back then HS graduation was kind of a big deal, now if you dont graduate its really weird.

They do, it usually costs a quarter since its all they can afford, you can get em from teh little machine in teh grocery store.

I thought it was lame back then ('98). I still think so today. Guys wear rings for marriage or for winning something sports related. I think that's it.
