Re: Obvious African scam, right?
[ QUOTE ]
Definitely a scam. You are right. Do what you can to stop her, but ultimately it is up to her. I just did a little web search and found this: http://www.internet-love-scams.org/f...ead.php?t=2171 [/ QUOTE ] Paging Idi - you have a forum to work over... |

[ QUOTE ]
Smells like a scam. Wire the money, and either he doesn't make it, or he does, is eternally grateful, but too weak to travel. [/ QUOTE ] More like wire the money and he has 7 or 8 medical setbacks, each requiring more money, then dies or is too weak to travel. |

When even Dr. Phil (Hey, my wife watches it!) has a show on this there's no excuse:

Re: Obvious African scam, right?
I find an asston of stuff on this and sent it to her. Even the department of state has information about the scam.
It was Ghana, obviously. She'd have to be retarded to send the money but apparently this chick wants this to be true so badly she is contemplating it. At this point I'm backing off. All I know is no matter what happens she is going to be embarrassed and depressed after this. |
