I thought checks over 2500 are mailed express?

Thank you for emailing into Full Tilt Poker Support.

We understand the effect this has on you due to the inconveniences
caused by our extended delivery times. After offering expedited delivery
to our players, we received reports that some players did not receive
their check within the 3-5 business days cited due to delays with our
check processor.

Unfortunately, the issues were beyond our control as our check processor
was not able to keep up with the demand for expedited delivery. Rather
than offer a service time line we were unable to meet, we had to make
changes to our delivery options so that players would receive their
checks within the time frame promised.

After reviewing actual delivery times, we are no longer offering the
option of expedited delivery. Checks will now be delivered by United
States Postal Service mail only and should arrive within 10 business
days from the time your withdrawal request is approved (1-3 days
processing and 3-7 days delivery time). Delivery times to destinations
outside the Continental United States will vary.

Thanks again for writing to us with your concerns and we do appreciate
your play at Full Tilt Poker. If there is anything else we can assist
you with, please let us know.

Regards,

Carolyn

That's why. No more expedited delivery.

7 weeks ago I requested a check and got it in 1 week. Last night I requested they change my processor to check from mywebatm (because that service is quickly falling apart) to checks. Today I get a response that says "Our records show that you have recently changed addresses. Please blah blah blah" they want me to give them my info again.

WTF. I've already done this (I don't have easy access to a fax machine). I have not changed addresses in the last 2 months (or the last 5 years for that matter). Do they just make this bs up to delay paying us? This might be the final straw for me. I'm so tired of getting jerked around from them in getting my money.

Its bad enough that we have to *contact* them through their super slow customer service to change our processor. There should be a button for that. Then they jerk you around for days before they say "ok, you are good to go"...and then you guys are saying that instead of a week for 2,500 plus checks, its going at 3 weeks to some?

This is unacceptable. I've been a loyal FT player for a year and a half...I guess I have to finally give stars my business.

cliff notes: FT lies and makes up reasons not to send you checks no matter how good of a customer you are.

***I just read the above message after I originally wrote this. It explains the delay, but its still unacceptable and doesn't account for them lying to me about changing addresses.

mine was processed on 4/16 and received it today via Fedex!

fedex? are you sure?

I've requested checks (>$2500) since then and they've arrived via regular US mail. I don't care as much about the time it takes to get here as much as the security of using someone like fedex or ups who can actually track things and is responsible for lost items.

[/ QUOTE ]Yes Fedex! It was sent from another processor and bank. My last check was for $2500 and it was sent regular mail. This one was for $1800 and I did not request delivery by courier.
There was a delay of 9 days from when my cashout was processed to when it was shipped. This may be due to them changing processors and banks.
Why did they send it Fedex? No Idea.

well, to follow up on my previous post, Full tilt told me that they had indeed made a mistake and that I didn't need to resend my info in order to cash out a check. They even gave me a 26 dollar token to appease me for getting jerked around. Now, I'll get to see just how long it takes to get the check.

this is typical ftp in my experience. the explanation for not offering overnight is that it takes to long to get there? because th eprocessor had too many overnights? so instead the can process regular mail more quickly?

ftp customer support and cashier functionality soo bad.

I just ordered a check and it says
Status: Processing

Do I still need to be approved via email or is that it. This was like 30 hours ago I got this email.

Do I need to email them and make sure they are approving it?

Well, lucid, you might want to write them. My saga continues.

I send email asking to change processor to check. I get reply that since I changed addresses I need to resubmit info to get checks. I send email telling them (strongly) that this is their mistake and I haven't moved and for them to quit jerking me around. The reply "sorry, our mistake, you are good to go" and give me a 26 dollar tourny token. I then send email asking for withdrawal again, this time I'm denied because they tried to send the 5k to mywebatm (which if mywebatm didn't have limits, the money would have been sent to them).

This is f'n insane. And the super slow responses from emails are driving me out of my skin. I can't believe we have to email them before we can make the withdrawal for checks. They should have an option to choose that will cut out that one email. Each email costs us 12-24 hours in time. And when they screw up, like they have with me, it costs us days. So irritating.
