bet flop, maybe call, maybe fold. I doubt I shove unless Ive been shoving a lot.

I would shove a hand like TJ because incase you do get called light you have more outs against a hand like 9A. If I thought he would fold the marginals then 9T is pretty similar to 56 so then both have the same shoving value.

I would prob just bet like 40 here and be done with it.

I also find that, people tend to call 3-bets light these days so my bet is closer to pot than it would have been before especially if my range is wider.

I like checking. If he bets the turn I'd usually call regardless if I hit or not with the intention of sometimes bluffing the river, sometimes just shoving the turn when he bets too.

calling turn without odds, is very bad

That's true, we probably don't have odds to call a reasonable turn bet given it's a reraised pot.

thats why i was wanting to get it done on the flop, because i feel like if we miss were kind of giving up and weve lost our equity. seems like a simple spot i just dont quite get it.

Bet 45 b/c this is probably the same line you'd take with overpairs. Most likely if opponent has anything he will c/c, in which case, you can take the river free card in position, while ull have to call a bet on the turn and nearly be forced to to make a hand if opponent leads turn. You reraise preflop with a hand like this, you ALWAYS have to bet flop IMO.

I think this is right, why do you think it's wrong?

If we had T9 I don't mind a check. It's pretty similar to a limit theory about betting with less outs but checking with more due to the FE required.

Why should we ALWAYS do something when our other option is attractive as well?

Don't get me wrong, betting here is my default, but I'll mix it up and check it back maybe 10-20% of the time, and more often vs players who I think will bet the turn with ATC.

alright, that's fair. I think vs sum1 who c/r a lot betting is not so good, if their make up of actions is mostly call/fold then it's an easy bet. IF we have the chance of getting c/r betting our hands becomes much less pretty.

yeah but the opposite is often true in NLHE (though it works both ways depending on the situation) because in limit if you get checkraised you call and ended up just paying an extra bet. in NL you end up folding 8 nut outs that have a damn good shot at taking your opponent's stack
