Chicago-culture.

It sure isn't for the weather. Every winter I ask myself, "Why did I move here again?"

Although I am getting a better education here than I could get in a lot of different cities, but culture is first.

Reno - wife wanted to come home, and I ended up in a really good job here....it's nice, for the most part. I would have rather stayed in Chicago, where I trained - but it's a good second choice, and she's happy.....

I live in Fountain Hills, AZ. I picked physical location. Living here is like living in a vacation destination postcard:

I picked Other because it's all of these....

My job - Great job opportunities has allowed me to stay here. The pay sucks compared to cost of living though, making me think about searching elsewhere.

It's my hometown (or proximity to family) - Born and raised in Orange County. Nearly all my family is here.

Culture (demographics, activities, politics, pace of life etc.) - I absolutely love the OC way of life.

Physical environment (location, climate) - It seriously can't get much better than this. The location is great because there's a million things to do. Plus, the weather is awesome about 360 days a year.

I went with "Physical environment (location, climate)" because it's why I'm moving to SD. If I answer with Pittsburgh, it's "It's my hometown (or proximity to family)"

where?! HAY NEIGHBOR!

Maybe you can help me out in naming the area since you know SD better than me. My place is like 1/2 a mile West of Fashion Valley, across the street from Riverwalk Golf Club.

So what's that area called?

when my friends (we were all MTG semi-pros at the time) were graduating college and leaving home, we were all scattered about the southeast. We discussed and debated where we should all move to, and ended up converging on Atlanta. personally, my reasons for Atlanta were simple, I wanted a metro area with all the benefits of a large city, without all the [censored] that come with large cities outside of the south.

My dad moved us to Memphis in 1980 because he got a job at FedEx.

I joined the USAF in 1990 and when I got out in 1996 that's just where I went. Soon after that I got married, had a son, then got divorced. So I'm not going anywhere.

If it wasn't for him I would have moved a long time ago. I'd probably be in Phoenix, Vegas, or San Fran.

This makes a nice picture I guess, but it looks kind of..empty. There's the golf course (I think) in the foreground and then just a lot of nothing.
