Daniel Tosh was mentioned, he is very good. I like him b/c he is different, hard to explain but nobody is really like him.

doug stanhope - don't hold the man show against him, he's a very cerebral comic and v. funny imo.

OMFG. I listen to Deadbeat Hero all the time and the funny moments never seem to wane.

Schimmel was a really good call earlier in the thread.

David Cross gets on some peoples nerves but I love him and can't get enough.

I never found Gaffigan or Regan very funny.

Thats really it on current stand-ups for me. I am going with alive ones, Hedberg is dead, Hicks is too

Funny, funny man. Someday he will be a huge star and have a TV sitcom that I will hate.

It may not be original, but I like Chris Rock's standups, especially Bigger/Blacker.

[/ QUOTE ]

I really loved Chris Rock's kryptonite/blacks line of jokes the first time I heard it on mp3. However, since then I've seen a lot of his stuff and wow I can't stand him. That half-laugh he does after every joke, and that irritating voice. Is this just me?

I've only ever seen the one show of his, but Pablo Francisco made me laugh quite a bit. I'm not saying he's a great comedian but he's a little out of the ordinary for certain.

Also, I'm a sucker for Indian accents. For some reason that always makes me laugh. So if anyone has any good bits like that, please link 'em.
