I think homeopathy is a bunch of crap too, but I don't think acupuncture falls into that category.

The American Medical Association considers acupuncture to be a legitimate form of medical practice for the treatment of chronic pain and nausea associated with surgery, chemotherapy, and pregnancy.

Insurance companies regularly cover acupuncture for these conditions.

Do you think an insurance co. would cover it if it wasn't legit?

I don't buy that lactose intolerance story for a second, though.
