i know this is a pretty n00bish question, but can i get a glossar on PAhud? someones says "Villain is 50/20/6" what exactly does it mean? vpip/pfr/af? im so confuuuuused

[/ QUOTE ] That means for every 100 hands played at the table, he will be in 50, of that 50 he will raise 20 pre-flop; and after the flop, he is 6 times more likely to bet than check.

[/ QUOTE ]

The 20 is 20% of the total hands, not 20% of 50% of total hands.

The best advice would be to read the CR article since it goes over this kind of stuff in detail. One of the most helpful bits I got from the article is using Bet River %, Went to Showdown %, and Won at Showdown % to view players who are making lots of river bluffs that you can pick off with pretty thin holdings profitably. The other side of the coin is that some people are very aggressive on early streets but only bet the nuts on river, so you need to have a strong holding to call or raise their bets.

Btw, that article was written in response to a suggestion I made that it be written on the CR forums. w00t. Great site and a great response time to my request. Any SSNLer not subscribing is really missing some value.

I've got the standard VPIP/PFR/Total Agg. Also have Cont Bet %, Folds to Cont Bet %, Went to SD, Won $ at SD, Attempt to Steal, Folds SB Steal, Folds BB Steal and Agg on each street. Takes some getting used to having all that data surrounding each player but after awhile you hardly notice.

No substitute for taking your time and actually *thinking* about each situation, but has certainly come in handy.
