When the K hit I'd have bet for value too. But looks like villain was slow playing 22's or had KJ. Muck the river bet for sure.

welp now that this is back up ill post results. i made a HUGE sigh and folded. and villian showed 26o for a measly pair of 2s. lol. so much for people NEVER c/r bluffing the river.

I don't think I've ever seen a river c/r bluff from a non maniac in 50K hands at the micros. I like the whole hand.

how is check calling 2 bets on a non drawy board showing strength. wut range do u put him on after his check call on the turn???

i always assumed that when people called big bets on dry boards they have a strong hand. SO unless I have a read that the villain has hard time folding top pair, I wouldnt bet river. Im not very good in NL... I just woudlnt risking making a valuebet here with a weak hand unless im sure the villain is capable of calling with a hand that is worse than mine a good chunk of the time
