From what the shows producer said when the show was coming out. It was going to be a 18 ep show(1 season and a half). But when the show got so popular the are squeezing every last dollar they can out of it.

i quit watching after the episode where mahone shot the dad. the whole sad family, burial scene was so ridiculous i decided i couldn't watch it anymore.

note - i fully understand the entire show was goofy to begin with, but when they turned it into a damn soap opera i was finally able to make a break from it...whoa...bad pun alert.

I wish I could stop watching. I really do. I find myself laughing at each show. But I'm just too invested in the characters and storyline (whatever that may be) to quit now.

The part for me when I realized the show was going to go downhill fast was when they made Mahone into just another company flunky. The way they brought him in was nice in that he was smart enough to figure out all of Michael's moves (albeit mostly a bit too late) and that the two were seemingly on the same brain wavelength. Then they turned him into just another stooge like Paul and I really didn't like it. But yeah, I'm too invested although I can't imagine the 3rd season being any good.

The only upside I see for the third season is Mahone and Michael working together. Not only to get out of Panamanian Prison, but to get back at everyone who screwed them before. Could be interesting.

made it 3 episodes into Season 1, too slow..

i read that drive is only scheduled for 8 episodes this season to gauge how it will go, because hardly anything from this year stayed on tv. But it does look good.

i caught a prison break marathon so i saw most of season 1. i saw the first 2 episodes of season 2, then i quit watching it

but my friend met the lead chacter with the tats at starbucks as he was driving somewhere to film, and he said that season 3 would be filmed in panamal or whereever.

on a side not he signed a starbucks cup, and they said he was a really cool guy

there's no possible way they can end the show like that...honestly i was praying it would end once they all got on the little boat. but nooo drag it out some more. that scene at the very end of the final episode was pretty weird. i actually hope that season 3 doesn't even go a full season, but just ends after at most 6 episodes.

I was thinking this last week. Movies are usually to short to be really in depth, and good shows are always stretched out until they become ridiculous and unwatchable.
