Re: I HATE ALL-NIGHTERS
Studying is out of the question. I gave it up as a bad habit a long time ago, and now I never study. This has worked out suprisingly well. Not procrastinating is also not an option as I see one week of lots of work as much better than an entire semester of less work. Not to mention that getting A's is really hard and not worth the effort, but getting B's is really easy.
I think my problem may be that I just don't care enough about school/grades to force myself to stay up. But, let's hear about adderall experiences and where I might be able to obtain some. |

- A dude in BBV said he stared into his car lights for a minute. Apparently it tricks your body into thinking you're awake or something. I'm pretty sure it won't work, but desperate times and all that. [/ QUOTE ] I'm that dude. I did a whole project on sleeping/circadian rhythms. It definitely helps. When I pull an all nighter I alwaysd overestimate how much time I have. The hours near the end are very unproductive cause I'm so tired and unable to focus. |

[ QUOTE ] Drink water, not coffee. Also, how the hell would we know if hte libraries at your school are open all night? [/ QUOTE ] You wouldn't. I go to school with Ed, which is why I asked him. [/ QUOTE ] I would be absolutely shocked if there weren't at least one 24 hour library at Princeton. |

Re: I HATE ALL-NIGHTERS
Haha I shouldn't have helped if you go to Princeton (j/k, I go to Penn). I'll have to try the teeth-brushing too.
As for adderall, you go to Princeton. If its anything like Penn it should take you no time whatsoever to obtain some. Couple things to consider: 1) Don't do a lot if you haven't before. 2) When you come down you're [censored]. Don't plan on being able to function w/o at LEAST 7 hours of sleep after using it. 3) I'm usually up for about 5-6 hours. 4) It really REALLY works. I don't use it often, but its really damn effective, and I don't buy that whole "academic steroids" whining. I'm in the same boat as you, not procrastinating just hasn't paid dividends for me, for all the reasons you outlined. GL if you've got another one or two coming, I will likely have two next week. Thx for the teeth-brushing tip (goes well with the cigarettes that I use too). |

Re: I HATE ALL-NIGHTERS
Well I just went out to dinner, which consisted of a cheeseburger and approximately 3 beers. I smoked a cig which helped, and I'm going to go get some coffee now. I def need to make it through the night since I have too much work to even finish this evening, so...

Re: I HATE ALL-NIGHTERS
Also any recommendations for music that is good to work too and will help keep me up is greatly appreciated. I'll listen to anything as long as it doesn't suck too hard.
