What are my chances of gitting in serious legal trouble if I......

1) Don't file taxes at all

2)Claim an amount such that I owe a negligible amount of money after various deductions. An example for all you illiterat bastards:

Let's say I figure I can make $5000 worth of deductions. I will claim I made some amount X such that I owe $5234. then send them a check for $234.

3) File for and extension, PR [censored] me, and Uncle Sam comes knocking in November and wants money that I haven't got.

So you're not playing anymore now? If you are playing (lets say on stars), why can't you have them send you a check? I read your post twice and it kind of indicates that you're busto but not entirely

T Nasty,

You can set up a payment plan with the IRS if you owe but don't have the funds. I would not under report or just not file. File honestly and set up a payment plan. You probably want to get an accountant because you may be able to write off the money you have locked up on line as lost for next years taxes, but there may be some technicalities, so a proffessional oppinion would be a real good idea.

If you can make 5k in deductions you deduct 5k from the amount you are claiming not the amount you owe.
