I agree that I mistitled the thread. But still there was a little bit of gossip, but most of it was observations. I just don't see why this catches so much sh!t when some guy posts about a sandwich being brought into a bathroom and people praise that. please explain.

dude, you're not catching "so much sh*t," chill out. you posted a thread titled "gossip from [wpt event]" which by all accounts had potential to be an A++++++++++ thread and instead when i opened it all i found were random observations/notes that i didn't find to be at all interesting. i'm sure many people were similarly disappointed given the expectations the title creates but it's not a big deal, just start another thread, title it "gossip from wpt reno," actually provide gossip this time and everything will be cool.

[/ QUOTE ] BKice explained it well--in the context of a trip report, your observations would have been welcome and appreciated...but with the promise of "gossip" in the thread title, we collectively hoped to hear some juicy tidbits, since we already know that Gavin Smith likes to drink and gamble and that Greg Mueller is tall.
