Re: TT on BB. Family pot. What do you do?
Interesting because you can jsut check for set value, but you've definitely got equity to value raise over at least most of your opponents.
I have to admit, I'm pretty weak with TT OOP. I might just check here, but it's probably wrong. Edit: I changed my mind. You could have limped for set value given the number of limers, but seeing as you haven't voluntarily put money in yet, your raise is like calling for set value at a higher stake as well as value raising. |

raise. flop a set. profit.
[ QUOTE ] Is this a no-brainer value raise or should you avoid bloating the pot preflop in case you need to protect from then onwards? [/ QUOTE ] protection is so overrated in the micros and especially 6max. Its all about value betting. |

All I have to read is the title. Raise preflop.

Re: TT on BB. Family pot. What do you do?
I'd like to say I'm raising for value since we probably have the best hand here, but we have to dodge so much on the flop that I probably check and see what the flop brings. I feel weak doing it, but usually I want to flop trips in this spot out of position to continue, or have a very ragged board with no overs.
Ugh, I knew I was weak-tight in multiway pots. Got to start noticing that. |

Re: TT on BB. Family pot. What do you do?
You have a strong hand pre-flop, so I would raise it. If overcards fall, this should help thin the field and if no over cards fall, you should be in good shape.
If you flop a set or better, well then you'll be glad these opponents are paying you for all your hard work! |
