If i feel myself steaming, i move over and play some limit, or enter tournaments for the rest of the night.

Tilting is by far the biggest leak in my game.

Its just a matter of time until you have a 20+BI downswing, even if ur making a solid 5ptbb

This 4.5 buyin beat started my worst swing of just under 9buyins. AA < AK twice, AA < KK, blah blah.. Who cares.

I don't think there's a 'typical downswing' and there's definitely no magic number that tells you you have a leak. It's not tough to see the cause of your downswing. Look at your big hands. See if you're getting outplayed, overplaying your hands, underplaying your big hands or just having plain bad luck.

I've had a 30BI downswing but I am a tilt monkey.

I love these threads. I just like to read about people having huge downswings.

Just moved up to 200NL and I'm currently on a 9 BI downswing over 9k hands.
It's almost as soft as 100NL and I was beating that pretty good

Time to drop back down I guess :P

The worst i have had is 7 buyins. when you get a rush like i had i think you will find what i found. i went back and reviewed the bad ones. most of the time i was stacked i made crying calls with an overpair or TPTK hands. the more i work to minimize them the less swings i have (obv)
