I think considering we only got 2 matches out of 7 complete (1 of those games was my fault) we should delay the start of week 3, just to get all the back games made up and get everyone back on the same page. And some people have been absolutely impossible to get in touch with, it would be nice if people who aren't interested in playing would let me know. I might even consider a complete reset of the league, and just cut it down to the 10 or 8 people. What do you guys think we should do?

Doesn't matter to me what changes (if any) are made, as long as the league continues.

We could even let it ride with lots of missed matches, and score people based on their %win of all matches they had a chance to play or similar...

As far as my matches with Orge, we should've checked earlier instead of last minute anyway... no biggie.

I definitely want to keep going. DC makes a good point with winning %. Maybe we can do something where everyone has to play everyone within 2 months a minimum of one set of three games. Until all the games are played we can keep track by record and make the standings go in order of winning %. That way if someone has a week or two of complete free time they can get most of their matches done, or whatever. Vacations won't interfere either.

Now we can also do a once a month or once every two weeks HU tourney in the private area of stars and maybe have a second leaderboard based on pts for those tourneys.

Just some ideas, but whatever happens I want to keep this going, I really enjoy it.

how do you set up private matches in poker stars?? i want to set up tournies for just 2+2ers

OK, well Ogre is out, and I know theres at least 4 guys that have been impossible to get in touch with, so whatever we decide to do I think we definately need to get a roll call of who really wants to do this. With a smaller group of players (8 or 10?) It won't be nearly so hard to keep up with everyone, and get all the games scheduled.

Here's an idea for a format that would only take a few weeks... we have 8 players divided in 2 groups, and have a format similar to the World Cup; for 3 weeks everyone plays 3 games against each of the players in their group. At the end of 3 weeks, the top 2 of each group go to the knockout phase, which will be a 2 week playoff. Then after 5 weeks, we can have a 2nd season. This way players don't have to commit so long, and we can get new interested players in without them having to wait so long.
