Also, one thing no one should underestimate is how high Barnhart will shoot, and how deep the pockets are (esp. for basketball) here at Kentucky. We just built a $30M practice facility, done largely with booster money. We were paying $2.1M for mediocre results. My guess is, given the shortcomings of the Tubby Era, they will try to bring in:

1) A guy with Kentucky ties.
2) A guy who plays an up-tempo, entertaining style.

And please - waste no time weeping for the UK program. I live right across the street from central campus and people are celebrating like we just won WW II again. Stick to your [censored] basketball program where 20 wins is a tremendous season. Carry on.

Tubby averaged 26.3 wins per season, went to 4 Elite Eights and won a title in 10 years at UK.

If the new guy comes in and does exactly that, wouldn't you be happy?
