3 betting preflop isn't a bad play or anything but all this necessary [censored] is out of control. It's not even about varying the play it's about as a general play it's probably optimal to call this most of the time.

id almost certainly end up calling this down. getting to showdown in this type of spot can be the difference between 33/51 and 35/53

This is a bad turn card to bet fold, unless this guy's play is very passive and consistent.
The K is one of the most obvious bluff raising cards for him, and in his eyes you could be bluffing very often. The only reason for you to bet the turn is with the hopes of inducing a bluff raise and to call down. I think this is a pretty good plan. If you are feeling that is too aggressive a line, then I think you should check call. |

What do I do when the flop comes AKx someone asks? I check fold! It's not a bad way to play it. |
