Replace Oden with Jerry Lucas and they'd be pretty good.
How many players in the tourney are the best their schools have ever had? Durant? debatable (TJ Ford), but probably Noah? Nick Fazekas

Call me a homer but I don't get why this thread is so long.
No one has ever dominated the sport at a level even remotely close to what Wilt did. The fact that KU is already a #1, and pretty easily the team that is least reliant on one player shouldn't even need to enter into it.

[/ QUOTE ] I agree with most everything you wrote, but I don't believe Wilt the collegian would dominate today like he did back then, just as I don't believe he would have averaged 50 ppg in the NBA today. And I would still take Alcindor over Chamberlain in college.
