If the forum is limited to certain members, but open to the public, it will never work. Sure there will be great posts, but the posters get nothing from it besides educating their potiental opponents. Next idea please.

I think the vast majority of professional poker players can benefit from discussing hands with other professional poker players. There are still a lot of people playing HSNL that don't read 2+2.

While we're on this topic, i've been meaning to propose another "other topic" forum split. I don't think there are enough other topic forums to discuss general issues. With that in mind, I propose splitting the "El Diablo General Discussion forum" into "The El General Discussion Forum," and "The Diablo General Discussion Forum."

Thoughts?

He already got a mod spot after kissing [censored]'s ass enough times. I'll support him for mod of one of those if he leaves modship of the politics forum though.

A lot of GREAT HSNL posters have expressed a desire for this.

[/ QUOTE ]Sklansky and Malmuth, AFAIK, don't play or no longer play HSNLP.

So you would not want them posting, right?

This is a stupid conclusion and it doesn't really deserve a response.

Mickey,

That's amazingly awful argumentation for a "star" of the politics forum

Grifter,

Since you asked all the HSNL players who have a desire for this to check out your post in this forum and support your view, I'm not seeing "A LOT OF GREAT HSNL PLAYERS" chiming in here. Seems pretty bogus. Have you got links to the previous discussion?

Aside from that, what's the point? Only "great hsnl posters" would be allowed to start threads? It would be a highly moderated content only forum? What? Please explain how this place would differ from the current hsnl except with perhaps a tiny bit more moderation?

c
