Re: poker bots
Bots killed online Backgammon and it's only a question of time until they will kill online Poker too, especially limit Hold'em.

Re: poker bots
[ QUOTE ]
Just figure out how it plays what, and then act accordingly. [/ QUOTE ] This isn't as easy as you think it is. Bots can adapt now. Quite a few programmers are accomplished poker players too... [ QUOTE ] I'd love to play against a bot lol. [/ QUOTE ] Be careful what you ask for. Test yourself against Poki or Vexbot. I think you will be in for a rude surprise, initially. |

Re: poker bots
If they became a big problem, as a means of countering bots, sites could institute pop-ups requiring manual verification every 10 or 20 or 100 hands, much like you need to do on Ticketmaster before searching for tickets to hot shows, or even as epassporte requires before signing in to your account.

Re: poker bots
[ QUOTE ]
Name a poker site that allows a bot. Dare you. Go... [/ QUOTE ] I'm not going to name one Eric, but you might be surprised. Let me just say that if you ever attend a casino business conference and have a word with anyone from the majority of casino management companies, the general feeling with regards to bots is hardly negative. |
