Re: NL600 550bb stacks - multidrawer rivers 2nd nutstraight, he overpu
barf and call. you have to have 4x% equity, and if he does this with 76, he does it with other sixes. add in the naked aces trying to get you off the split and you easily have it that often.
the problem with you folding this (aside from everything else) is that it's impossible for him to put you on a six. |

Re: NL600 550bb stacks - multidrawer rivers 2nd nutstraight, he overpu
Very tough decision either way, I lean towards a fold. The Villain described probably has a 6 at worst, meaning you are calling to chop or lose. I doubt he's hammering it this hard with Ax to get you off a different Ax, a considerably smaller bet would accomplish that trick. His betting line, espec turn call, might be strange, but this does not take 76 out of the equation.

The fact that you have the 6 of hearts makes this a very easy call.
Do you seriously see a TAG villain C/C 67 offsuit, and then LEADING with it on the turn? I don't think so. |

Instacall. How often can he really put you on a 6 here? Ever? No. This looks more like an A trying to push off a split than anything else.
Next time, if you don't want to influence responses, don't post a leading question like "this is an instafold, right?" |

Re: NL600 550bb stacks - multidrawer rivers 2nd nutstraight, he overpu
this is really sick... i played with him today and he's TERRIBLE. i almost think it's better to just keep your stack against him and not risk it.
it's obviously really tough for him to have 67 here, but at the same time, i really, really don't think he'd overbet bluff like this. |

[/ QUOTE ] Well he could have 67 suited but not in hearts, but I digress. Some food for thought, if villain can get us to fold anything but a 6 in theory, isn't a river shove by him insanely +EV since we'll never have a 6 here really ever except for in a wierd case like this (assuming we rarely have 66 here which I think is a good assumption)? He's risking $2800 to win $1200, and we have a 6 here such a small percentage of the time. I guess this also is assuming we never call with a bare ace, which according to the responses so far has to be pretty close to the truth since a lot of you are saying to fold a 6. FWIW, I think this is a call. 67 just seems really unlikely given the action, and our hand looks like it can almost never call a river overbet shove. |
