It doesn't really sound too much, Bundesliga is insanely popular, and there is a lot of season card holders and rich people in Munich and surroundings who wants tickets, so they often get very expensive. 1000 seems alot for a german league game!...i paid 250 euros for Barcelona vs Real Madrid last summer and 500 for world cup quarter final England v Portugal which were much bigger games..

Lol, if a ticket really were that expensive, Bundesliga would obviously not be that popular.

Don't know if OP got the best seat in the VIP lounge or something but otherwise 1000 Euros is far beyond being a realistic price for a ticket.

Of course most people get in cheaper, but they have season pass, membership of club or have gotten priority another way. The amount of tickets in the hands of scalpers is actually quite small, so it is not so easy to find, especially for a foreigner (now speaking of Bayern), I would say for a foreigner without any contacts it is hard to find cheaper.
