I don't understand the $1k cash part. Why not bring a smaller sum, say €500-1000 and then use what we europeans like to call ATMs (actually, we don't like to call them that)?

1)bring checks or simply use a credit card.
2)i use one when i travel and it will look funny if you walk with that through monte carlo. 3)in germany, where i live, right now it´s about 10C/day and 5C/night, often rainy. warsaw, prague, london and paris should be the same, in barcelona and monte carlo soon it will be sunny and +20C. for the clothes better ask your mom. 4)i never had problems with my sleeping pills on the plane, but i dont know xanax and ambien. 5)i´ve never been there but i´m sure it will be very strict. u should know that monte carlo is the home of the rich in europe. with your 10k for one month you can have a lot of fun in europe, but this place is really expensive.
