You are confusing variance with profitability. If you are actively leaving tables with lots of "luckboxes" that call your turn shoves with worse hands, then maybe that explains why you think poker has gotten harder, and you can't find any fish.

Myself I have never gotten to 12+ tables, but I maitained 6 for a long time just because I felt that was the max I could pay attention to without missing to many bets. Yes the game has changed IMO. So I have dropped to 4 tables and have made more money then when I was playing 6 tables. I am not missing as many steal opportunties and 3bets I used too.
Of course back when the fish pop was higher, it was no biggie, but the are less mistakes made by others now so I have to change my style. I think adapation needs to be done and I have. The winners will always adapt.

If HUD bots become the 2007 fish at medium/small stakes, I will consider poker officially dead.

[/ QUOTE ] oddly enough, I haven't seen any 'hudbots' crying. lots of tuff fish crying about hudbots, though. maybe I've got tuff fish confused with a hudbot?
