i dont mind the turn bet if you fold to a raise i'd probably check flop behind too, for pot control and later value [/ QUOTE ] I really like the 2nd line, valuetrain gets started on the turn |

i think either the flop or turn should be checked but not both, and the river should always be bet. i don't think pot-pot-pot is terrible though, vs. some fish it can easily be the best line. my turn/river play is also dependent on what cards come out and how i think he is liking how the board is developing or not.

[ QUOTE ]
There are exactly 2 hands that I put him on. The first hand is AxKs and the second hand (not likely, probably he has AxKs) is a fancy hand like 6s7s. Your turn bet is so low/weak that he knows you have a weak ace or that you have QQ, KK AxKs... he expects you to call this turn with semi-strong hands and fold a lot of rivers.... if he does or doesn't hit his flush/full house... and if you only call the bet and he hits the river, he will get paid because then he will bet less on the river and it's so hard for you to fold... In this situation you really have to fold your weak ace because he has position over you and you don't have a strong hand... [/ QUOTE ] micro stakes nl is thataway -----> |
