Context schmontext:

[ QUOTE ]
...Hillary was actually quoting the hymn lyrics of someone else -- while clearly and very openly imitating (not very well, it turns out) the cadences she thought the lyrics would traditionally have been delivered in....

Here's a transcript of the passage in question:

My friends, we have a march to finish. I will be reintroducing the Count Every Vote Act, to ensure that every voter is given the opportunity to vote, that every vote is counted, and each voter is given the chance to verify his or her vote before it is cast and made permanent.

We have to stay awake. We have a march to finish. On this Lord's day, let us say with one voice the words of James Cleveland's great freedom hymn, "I don't feel no ways tired/I come too far from where I started from/Nobody told me that the road would be easy/I don't believe he brought me this far to leave me."

And we know -- we know -- we know, if we finish this march, what awaits us? St. Paul told us, in the letter to the Galatians, "Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due seasons we shall reap, if we do not lose heart."

See? The audio Drudge and all these other hapless wingers promoted reproduced the hymn lyrics as Hillary's words, without sharing the fact that she was quoting someone else.

You would think someone who lived in Arkansas for 17+ years could do a better Southern accent. And how dare she quote a hymn ( Don't Feel No-ways Tired ) when she's speaking in a church?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah you're right, she's just a God fearing good ol' Southern girl, that Hillary LOL.

[/ QUOTE ]

the Republicans want her nominated more then the Democrats - LOL -

Man, nothing like 24 years of the Bush/Clinton dynasty - ugh.

Bush I was VP to Reagan, so that's 28 after Bush II is gone.

Hillary is and always has been REALLY REALLY REALLY fake.

Managing to stand out as fake among politicans is a real achievement

[/ QUOTE ]

The best part is seeing the times where she gets credit for being a "great politician" for people seeing her be fake when really it's her doing a much poorer job of hiding it.

Affectations worked so well for Bush... maybe she's copying him? (though I can never decide... is Bush really a dumb good ol' boy or just trying to sound like one?)

[/ QUOTE ]

At least Bush actually sounds like one.

In a year's time there will be hours of Hillary folly to splice together and doom her chances. Let's hope that's just after she gets the nomination.

That audio is unusually shameless, isn't it?

[/ QUOTE ]

No, not especially.

Why do democrats want another Republican president? If they nominate Hillary or Obama, it's guaranteed!

Why do people make statements about the future when they have no ability to predict it? What if things go well under a democrat president?

I have a thing against bold predictions that lack substance. I know I can do the same, but I try to do it without displaying a high level of certainty.
