There's a lightly used 17" Optiquest monitor going on eBay for $11 plus shipping, if anybody wants to be monitor buddies with OP.

I actually prefer the IBM keyboard myself. I bought dozens at an auction years ago and when one has a problem I switch it out and keep on trucking. For people who learned to touch type they are wonderful. All you need is an adapter to convert the 5 pin din to a 6 pin ps/2 din. There is also nothing wrong with a CRT monitor, they can be much brighter than LCDs. Proletariats of the the world unite.

Why would you pay that much in fees instead of opening a epassport or even just sending them a check or something.

Yeah, I was just messing with him. I just got my first LCD over Thanksgiving weekend because of the great sales that were going on. It's not a "balla" monitor, but it's nice.

One of my CRT's is still great. I just have no use for it now.

Stars support sucks. Not having someone to phone when there is a problem is one of the worst things ever. Even AP has a phone #.

They actually processed all those giftcards, and only after I asked about the Paytru did my account get flagged because the guy checked it manually and locked it manually. The Stars host here and the other folks at Stars have been great and speedy, it just seems that theres only 1 guy they have in security, who for whatever reason seems to be taking his time, even after I sent a screenshot of my credit card's online statement that displayed all those Walgreens purchases under my name.

Exactly. My computer actually came with a 20" Dell(was part of some monthly special where it came free if you bought an XPS), but I ended up trading for that one with my uncle when he was visiting.
