$16 AK vs. WTF?

a lot of players open-push monsters in turbo sngs because before so many people got good at them, people would often call with complete garbage. i think this is QQ+ a lot, i think its a smaller pair a lot, and i think calling with AK is bad. id rather call with TT than AK tbh, but id probably call QQ+ or maybe JJ+ tbh

i like pushing good hands preflop in the early stages of low buyin tournaments because usually the donks are still in, i also often raise to 10 bb with aa or kk early on because someone will often assume i must be bluffing and calls me down with [censored]. i also did this 10bb raise with ak, but that suckz because if u get called by some idiot u cant bluff him out if u dont hit.

BTW, I used to shove AA/KK back when I was still new to the game just because someone would call with AK or some other crap. I still sometimes do if it's the first hand and there's like 5 limpers and usually get a call from any pair and obv AK/AQ. [img]/images/graemlins/ooo.gif[/img]

I'd call QQ+ probably. No matter how big a loser the guy is I'd still give him credit for a hand unless I've seen specifically this sort of thing by him before. Shoving AA first hand isn't that uncommon at low stakes.
