Re: is there anyone out there that thinks games are easy still?
I play on pokerstars and the games are very beatable. What I find funny is that many of the people complaining are the hud bots who have no real understanding of the game.

I have expirenced much tougher play on the more popular sites, especially stars, but I have been slaying Golden riveria, a prima site with a good amount of euro players. The B & M is a close by alternative with more fish than Gordons too.

Re: is there anyone out there that thinks games are easy still?
Well...I play SNGs at AP and they are as ridiculously soft as ever. No turbos, but I've got an 18% ROI in the 71s there over about 2500. I'd like to see someone in the Stars turbos come anywhere close to that.

Wow, you've convinced me to come over and sit at your 71s with you. Nice job.

Re: is there anyone out there that thinks games are easy still?
I used to play 2/4 and 1/2 NL and have just been sticking around the .50/1 NL tables lately. The others are certainly beatable, but the variance is way way higher now than it was pre-UIGEA. I started playing for a living last July and made almost 100% of my profit online, but for the last couple months I've been spending way more time in my local B&M. Between myself, my brother, and one of my good friends we've played over 250 sessions of 2/5 and 5/10 NL and had a combined 30 losing sessions. The play is so insanely bad; if I was watching it with hole cams my head would explode like the fembots in Austin Powers.

I think they are still great. Honestly, I've not noticed a change at the limits I play. [/ QUOTE ] pretty much my assessment as well |

Re: is there anyone out there that thinks games are easy still?
"Easy" is a subjective term, but there's no doubt that the games on the limit side are quite a bit tougher than they once were. Probably .5 BB/100 worse than a year ago, or maybe a bit more. OTOH, limit is a dying beast, so how much of this is the UIGEA is hard to say.

Re: is there anyone out there that thinks games are easy still?
I pulled myself out of online poker for a while. I'm a limit player and after the UIGEA has crippled the industry (compared to what it was), I've found myself thinking there are better things to do with several hours of my week than grind out 1BB/100 against 8 tablers on low-limit tables with HUD's and 12% VPIPs.
The games are nowhere near as easy (at least on the low-limit side) as they were 6/12/24+ months ago. |

Re: is there anyone out there that thinks games are easy still?
I've been playing almost exclusively at Full Tilt the past two months, and I have found the 2-4 and 3-6 shorthanded limit tables to be very tough. I feel like I'm beating my head against the wall many days. I see a lot of "regulars." I have found the PLO games with $50 and $100 buy-ins to be not quite as tough. As far as NL cash games, I don't know.
