I don't understand how calling gives away Hero's hand as big. Do you guys really dump JT, 76, A5, etc. for 240 more? I don't. Yeah, if you call and then pop the turn it looks more like a big hand than a big bluff, but what's wrong with flat calling the turn or checking it through?

4-betting is not great because if he 5-bet shoves, it's either a gigantic ballsy bluff or he has you completely dominated, and your top two just lost all value. If you 4-bet and he calls, now what? You're in the same spot with your hand not being able to get value from weaker hands.

On flop: Call and get him to put all his chips in with a weaker hand on later streets. Classic rope-a-dope line works here.

On turn: Raise to 3x his bet. He's making very weak bets so I think this could possibly make your raise look like a bluff too. Dont let him get away with continually making blocking bets.

This has been extremely interesting, could you post the results please op? I think the concensus is to call down or call and slam turn. I am a favor of the latter because thats what I would do if I was floating with a pair + draw.

Not raising the river is crazy.
