i really dont like this at all
id lead and fold or crai in here, also there has to be some possibility that it was an awful squeeze attempt pf by villian and hes just bluffing his stack off |

No one has mentioned 4betting pf....why not? By just calling its a good chance we're playing a 3way pot. So does that mean we're playing mainly for set value?

I 4 bet here all day, and fold to a shove for a 20/10/x type player, I don't like calling here OOP because it puts you in tough spots like the one OP is in.
If the opp is 25+/16+ type player, i will probably call his shove cause u'll see AK, AQ, AJ, JJ, TT here alot to, not just AA, KK. And since i'm a professional at having hands hold when all in pre, It works for me |

I would give him less then 1% chance of this being a squeeze gone wrong.
very rarely will a random unknown at this limit be capable of a squeeze here. I would never take that into cosideration unless i knew my opponent very well...and i've seen him do it before. |

Ok.....
Flop: Hero checks, Villain bets 20, Hero calls Turn; Hero checks, Villain bets 40, Hero? Villain bets allin? Against some people I will bet the flop here (fold to a RR), to try and oust AK/AQ. But preferably not when calling a 3bet. |

the more and more that I think about this hand... the less likely I think you are beat here. While some donkeys make those small raises like villian did preflop with big hands becuase they want action... they usually wont look at a 677 flop and think OH NO! i need to push my AA to protect my hand. They either do something like call your 20 dollar bet and bet it on the turn or raise smallish for the same reason that they raised so small preflop... because they dont want to push you out.
On the other hand, a player like this will look at 677 flop, look at his mid pocket pair and push or look at AK and push. What did he have OP? |

Just gonna try to work some math out here...
Lets say villains range is 88, 99, 1010, JJ, QQ, KK, AA, AK If we bet, villain probably folds 88, 99, AK, agreed? If we bet, we gain $0 3/8 times. The other 5/8 times, we get our whole $89 stack in against the remainder of villain's range, TT, JJ, QQ, KK, AA. Pokerstove tells us that our equity against this range is 50.013%. (3/8)(0) + (5/8)[.50013(+89) + .49987(-89)] = $.014 If we check, we can assume that villain will cbet his entire range, approximately $25. When we CRAI, let us assume that villain folds (this is obviously player dependant, and we stated that villain was unknown) 88, 99, TT, JJ, AK. The other 3/8 times, we get our whole $89 stack in against QQ/KK/AA, to which we have 20.701% equity. (5/8)(+25) + (3/8)[.20701(+89) + .79299(-89)] = -$3.932 B/C > CRAI? Hows my math? |
