Re: Heroes 19/02/2007
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] why the [censored] would sylar even want that worthless yet amazingly annoying power? [/ QUOTE ] the woman said she could hear things four miles away. can you think of any benefit that sylar might have in a battle if he had that power? [/ QUOTE ] no. [/ QUOTE ] oh come on. it should be basically impossible to ambush or surprise him now. |

Re: Heroes 19/02/2007
ilya,
I think sylar is crazy and delusional. I think his thirst for power pretty much supersedes all of his logical thought. I also think he is catching on that something is wrong. He'll figure it out, sylar will get the list but he will except right in the nick of time. |

a, that was a really dumb move on sylar's part, he seems smarter than that. he should have gone around to all the people with surinder first and collected a big list. b, i understand that surinder is pretty credulous, but come on, no suspicion at all? he's also smarter than that. [/ QUOTE ] I agree with A. I mean when they visit the next person and Sylar kills them, Mohinder will have to start gettting suspicious. As for B Mohinder has seemed pretty dumb throughout the whole show. |

I just had a thought. What if Peter wants to blow up new york when we get to that point in the series?

I just had a thought. What if Peter wants to blow up new york when we get to that point in the series? [/ QUOTE ] Maybe a long shot but it is possible. He destroys Sylar, inherits his multitude of powers, then promptly loses his mind. It would set him up to be the big bad for next year as well as the inevitable brother vs. brother confrontation. |

As for B Mohinder has seemed pretty dumb throughout the whole show. [/ QUOTE ] yeah that's kinda true, he hasn't been the sharpest knife in the drawer. he never caught on about audrey hepburn, even after she basically told him the truth on the phone. which really makes no sense since he's supposed to be a professor. |

[/ QUOTE ] I don't think Sylar was expecting to revisit the mechanic. Mohinder has been pretty dim, but when Sylar started to get headaches at the mechanic's he looked a little distrustful of Sylar. |

I just had a thought. What if Peter wants to blow up new york when we get to that point in the series? [/ QUOTE ] would make a fair amount of sense actually...he's had so many years to collect resentments and insecurities. seems especially plausible given the last ten minutes of tonight's ep. question is how exactly would claire save him. |

Re: Heroes 19/02/2007
[ QUOTE ]
He destroys Sylar, inherits his multitude of powers, then promptly loses his mind. [/ QUOTE ] He doesn't have to kill to obtain powers. He already has Sylar's telekenesis. Whether the hints of rage and madness we saw in this episode stem from his emotional response to the Simone/Isaac situation or if they are a part of Sylar that he absorbed I guess we won't know for a while. That brings me to a thought about Sylar. One of his powers is telekenesis. Another is the ability to know how things work. Is the secondone inherent to his genetics or learned from working in the watch shop? |
