Because I think the team with the best record during the regular season has earned the right to possibly play more home games than their opponent. The regular season says a lot about the better team.

I think if it were up to me, I would get rid of all-star games in general and give the players a week of rest. Lets face it, a lot of them don't take the game seriously, and for a lot of these guys that week would really benefit them physically and mentally(they don't need the money).

I think the MLB all-star game is boring as hell. Always loved the NBA game... but I was pretty bored this year, too.
