he was 0% to win and had to commit 1/1500 of the pot, which is greater than 0%, good fold by him

Actually, he looked down and realized he was only dealt one card, J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], and thought the only way to win the hand was bet big. When that didnt work, he knew he was beat and could safely fold, since he was drawing to running 88, and never draws to quads (as a general life rule)
