Can't you do a 2 ball scramble HU where you would play your best ball each time?

I've gone from basically liking DN to really disliking him with his last two points.

1. How do you "scramble" putts? A scramble is when a four-some playing in a tournament have three players drop and hit from where the most advantageous ball is lying. So, if you're in a heads-up match, and your ball is on the green, there's no way you can place it anywhere else...you've got no teammates!

2. Nice observation that Tiger would "win by twenty strokes". Note that Daniel said it was match play. It's not even worth the keystrokes to explain that to you.

[/ QUOTE ]

i thought the same thing. i'm quite interested to know how one player "scrambles"

He could gain 100 pounds on muscle tissue alone if he started doing some sports, like table tennis for example.

I don't think it is that difficult to think how one player scrambles.
You put twice and take your best put.
That's exactly how a scramble works. Two players play the same ball and whoever did it better that shot is used. So if you scramble with yourself, you shoot twice.

I hate to admit it, but I believed the Seidel story. He lost me with the Ivey tale. Tiger would be ahead of Ivey off the tee, forget about what happens after the second shot. Tiger on the tips, Ivey on the whites. A stroke a hole and 1 1/2 from the par 5's is the believable match. Juanda restaurant, possible. Greenstein a Rabbi and Cunningham doing business with Gold. NFW

Isn't Erik Seidel like 6'7"? And he probably weighed ~200 pounds when he made that bet. I think he could easily put 350 on a 6'7" frame. Sure, he'd be fat, but id double up for a million.
