Anything good on TV during the day?

Newsradio, TBS, 1 (but sometimes 1:30... still haven't figured it out).

They're on the crappy episodes now, but in about a week they'll finish the show's run and start again on the awesome early stuff.

Totally agreed. I've watched hours of that channel before when I have nothing else to do. They also have very few commercials compared to any other station. This is clearly your best option if you have an HDTV/HD programming.

price is right, food network, both excellent. also sportscenter, and often on HBO/pay channels there are decent movies. i also find interesting things to watch on Discovery/A&E/Travel types of channels

Ends at 9am here. 9am is pretty much dead for tv as far as I know. There's usually a decent movie on at 10am. At 12 you can get decent sitcoms, I usually watch Home Improvement.

It's amazing how much Tivo makes watching TV better.

If not, just invest in DVDs of TV shows.
