I'm assuming that OP forgot her number sometime in the conversation and just put her number in his cell phone without attaching a name.

I've done this before, and the plan above works great.

Also, next time OP - if you forgot her name while you were there, just have one of your friends introduce himself to her.

Is it her cell # or home? You could try doing a reverse lookup on Verizon.com
If it's a cell I like the idea of calling at a very odd hour from a payphone or other phone that cannot be traced back to you and hoping for an informative voice mail message.
