Once and a while they pour a bunch of bleach into the water cooler and put a big orange bag over it that says "do not drink".

-They clean/sterilize the water cooler by putting a bunch of bleach in it and letting it soak, then later flushing it with water.

-A Large orange bag that fits over the bottle is used to warn employees not to drink while this is being done.

I have no idea why, I can only say I saw this with my own eyes. I don't ask questions at a filthy mine site, I get my work done so I can get the [censored] out and hopefully dump any other jobs there off on a new guy.

I think they are more focused in areas like the primary crusher, which a guy slipped into this winter while trying to poke out a jam. He fell into the tank before the crusher along with some 300-1000 boulders. It took a week to figure out how to get the body out.

And like I said, It doesnt look like your body lets you accidently ingest pure bleach. I think he went off to drink as much water as he could force down and was completely fine.

No, crushed instantly.

And I don't mean to make light of it, Im just saying mines are super dangerous places. The water cooler thing is off the radar.

LOL. the phrase "get his body out should be clue #2. right after the fact that he was crushed by hundreds of boulders for a week.
