I found it funny when the deaf tournament organizer said they wanted to be treated just like everyone else was treated by the Taj staff. They must not play in Taj too often.

Jamie Gold... I gotta admit he's somewhat entertaining to watch, if not just for his horrible play. He's an extremely strange personality. I'm sure he loves the time on TV. HSP was funny as hell while he was on. I definitely would not be thrilled if I had to sit next to him all day long, but because of his endless chatter and not his great playing ability.

The deaf tournament thing reminded me of this thread

Apparently, for playing against Gold, just ask him if he'll show you if you fold. If he says yes, he's bluffing. If he stalls, he has a hand.

The First TWO episode were def, "boring".........I assume this is produced in way to build up to more drama as the the show/touney moves foward,
We will see on Sunday when #3 and #4 are aired.

ONE very obvious issue throughout BOTH USPC episodes.

How can Jamie Gold constantly talk/chatter/"i got ya' this time"/"you dont want to end your turnamnet life here"/etc,,,,,,,,,,,and NO ONE complains/calls over a floor person about this continuous(i can see ONE time,but it seemed like EVERY hand he was in) abuse of a clear rule violation with sometimes up to three other players in the hand???
It was SO obvious when he had air OR wass begging for a call.......GEEEEEEEZ He really is a BOZO,and I wish he was at one of my tables in the hand during one of those constant charades.

There aint NO chance that crap would have continued!!!

its funny because actually he tells you his hand sometimes and peopel still lay him down..when they continually see him always stating the truth for teh most part.

Anyways i enjoy this Poker tourney..fun to watch

I remember the bio they did on Funston. I think they said he was a ceo or something close to that. They showed him speaking to several other people like they were his employees or something. For all I know it was his family and he is the SEO of his household.

I Googled "Funston ceo" and there's a Lance T Funston who's the CEO of TelAmerica. No clue if it's the same fella or not. Their office is in Philly with a branch in NY.
