Re: Short Urinals
[ QUOTE ]
Our company men's room has one shorty urinal and 2 stalls only. This totally blows. The top of the shorty urinal ends up getting covered in pee splashes from guys shaking it since most guys waistline is higher than the top of the urinal. Gross. KJS [/ QUOTE ] I'm confused. ADA urinals are only 7" lower than standard urinals. I'm 6'0" tall and have never had a problem pissing in the ADA urinal. |

Re: Short Urinals
oh I thought that was a joke. If I ever see a guy in a wheelchair pulled up to a urinal, I'm gonna have a hardy laugh on the inside.

[/ QUOTE ] If they are lower than 17" in an office setting, then blame it on the contractors. There is absolutely no reason for them to be installed lower than 17". Only in junior highs, elementary schools, or other places where primary users are "small", is the requirement less than 17". So if you are bitching about the ADA law, it doesn't make sense to do so in this case. And working with lazy, uncontrolling pissers who are taller than 6 feet is just a bad beat for you I guess. What does DIAF mean? |

Except for one at work that i think a drunken raccoon placed on the wall. |

Re: Short Urinals
I think full length urinals are ripe for a comeback:

Re: Short Urinals
Yeah no thanks. I prefer my shoes without pee on the bottom.

Re: Short Urinals
There are flushless urinals out there that basically are like a waterwall, where when your piss hits it, it absorbs the piss instead of the porcelain reflecting it.
Those are more costly though and a lot of building owners aren't going to shell out the $ for them. |
