doug I must say I really admire your ability to stay within your game and not move up too fast despite the ginormous cash at the wsop. 99.5% of people would move up too fast and blow half of it just trying to learn the higher games. VNH at life.

if i wanted to take shots, it would've been last year when my losses would've been tax deductable

meh, i'm just a nit who got lucky. if i had went pro, i'd probably start playing 10/20 regularly instead of trying to build an online roll.

Does a day go by where you don't think, "man, what if I had won it?" Or is this silly talk

of course you got lucky at the wsop, you have to to get that deep. but you have been as smart as anyone I've seen with the money after that point, and there's no luck in that.

of course i think these things. i think man what if i played a bit tighter and didn't try to open all those pots where people all had cards and played back at me? i think man, i should've checked when i made queens up on jamie and let him bluff me on the river.

but what can you do. i tried, and that was that.

Doug,

congrats on your big score! what are you going to splurge on now? another few button-ups for work? maybe a couple yankees jerseys? give this a lot of thought: you don't want to blow 2k and end up having buyer's remorse.

also:

so...i'm on tilt[/b]

[/ QUOTE ]
how much do you have to lose to tilt? jesus christ, next time you take a bad beat for a $483 pot, just think to yourself "king on the river, king on the river..." if that doesn't comfort you, you're hopeless.
